CareerShala - District Program
CareerShala - District Program
Our flagship, 4 year long program for grades 9th to 12th is currently being implemnted across 2 districts – Jhajjar (Haryana) and Haridwar (Uttrakhand). The curriculum is based on our 5 step framework and full scope of our resources and made available to students.
We train nominated Govt school teachers as career facilitators and support them throughout the year for effective delivery. We also prep students to apply for curated good colleges and skilling institutes post their 12th grade.
Currently we are building capacity of 15 facilitators who are in-turn supporting 1500+ students and youth in their local communities across the 7 districts.
CareerShala - NGO Capacity Building
As knowledge partners on career guidance to 3 credible NGOs, our program is reaching students across 7 districts in Bihar and Haryana. Similar to the district program, we train the partner NGO staff intensively and make all our resources available to them to ensure that students most in need are able to access career guidance support.
Currently we are building capacity of 15 facilitators who are in-turn supporting 1500+ students and youth in their local communities across the 7 districts.

- Strengthening the training cascade by creating vernacular e-learning modules in partnership with UNICEF and NCERT, enabling scalable and continuous teacher capacity building
- Develop and implement a monitoring process to ensure that program is reaching all intended classes across the state
- Designing poster and communication materials to being motivation and clarity among facilitators
Pilots And Innovative Programs
We strive to deepen our impact and enable youth to achieve meaningful careers in diverse sectors.
One such initiative is the STEM aspiration building program for 7th to 12th grades students in JNV system in Himachal Pradesh as part of the Central Square Foundation’s Tarang accelerator.
We started with grade 7 in JNV Kangra in 2025. We also got to engage with other 9th to 12th grade students in JNV Kangra, JNV Una, and JNV Hamirpur.
In Haryana, through a partnership with SwaTaleem in Jind, we piloted a facilitator-led community-linked model to extend career guidance support to students in underserved school settings. Through capacity building of local facilitators and access to Careershala resources, the model tested how career guidance can be delivered effectively through grassroots implementation partners.
